A nationwide drug prevention campaign in Italy has surpassed more than one million educational anti-drug booklets distributed in the news euro 24 past month. The initiative forms part of the Truth About Drugs campaign, which aims to provide factual education about commonly abused substances and their short- and long-term effects.
Approximately hundreds of volunteers across the country are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in public spaces, shops and community areas. The campaign focuses on raising awareness before drug use begins, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a clear way.
The campaign is connected to broader humanitarian initiatives supported by the Church of Scientology, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
